Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide members with an opportunity to learn and discuss key HR and Business issues with members in a more intimate, small group setting.

PSPS Members In Career Transition Special Interest Group

Chaired by Anne Dunn, Shelley Potente, Cindee Porter and Paul Marion

Members In Career Transition Special Interest Group (SIG) is for PSPS members in transition. Group meetings provide PSPS HR and Business leaders a forum to work with peers to maximize the manner in which they are positioning themselves in the market. Considered by many to be an informal “advisory board,” this venue provides collaborative support and a candid forum for discussion and honing of skills during the transition process, along with regular lead sharing.

This SIG is intended for PSPS members who are in transition.  If you are not in transition and wish to attend, please contact one of the co-chairs.  

Meeting Size is limited to 20 - Must register to attend - Please go to the website and sign up for the meetings you plan to attend in order to ensure that you will be able to participate in the group session. To register, click on Events Calendar and click on Members In Career Transition SIG.

 • The chair leaders are your volunteer facilitators - We are a supportive team and will offer a little "tough love" from time to time to help you conduct the most effective job search. Sessions will alternate between informal, candid roundtable discussions and presentations/panels delivered by professionals who may be external to PSPS or PSPS members.

• Please bring a valuable take-away to share with the group such as a lead, recap of an article, excerpt from a recommended book, helpful link, inspirational TedTalk, and/or lesson learned.

• Dress is business or business casual

PSPS Executive Coaching Special Interest Group

The 2019 meetings of The Executive Coaching Special Interest Group will begin in February and will target experienced full time coaches/consultants, coaches/therapists. We will support each other in building and effectively serving our coaching clients and further developing our coaching skills.
Our meetings will continue to be at Villanova University from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
a. Continuous development of our skills as leadership and executive coaches
b. Establish an effective forum of skilled coaches for input and discussion on actual coaching situations in a confidential community
c. Provide development opportunities on topics related to coaching for the larger PSPS organization through LAN meetings and collaboration with the Talent Management SIG

Member Criteria
a. Must be member in good standing with PSPS
b. Must have an ongoing coaching clientele
c. People who are committed to coaching as a significant part of their business
d. Knowledgeable about / certified in assessment tools

Style of Meetings
a. Presentations and discussions relative to developing one's business, niche, and clientele as well as coaching skills

The PSPS Talent Management & Acquisition SIG brings together talent thought leaders to share ideas and practices, and to broaden their network - with the goal to help each other raise the bar in the effectiveness of talent management solutions and the leadership teams they support.

PSPS Human Capital Analytics Special Interest Group

Chaired by Amy Collins and Fiona Jamison

The purpose of the HCA SIG is: •To provide a forum for those involved in the human capital analytics field to interact, including practitioners, academics, and providers of products and services. •To share experiences, case studies, and research in the field of human capital analytics. •To advance the thinking, body of knowledge, and state of the art in the human capital analytics field.

Regional Reach and Balanced Membership
The HCA SIG attracts individuals involved in workforce analytics across the Greater Philadelphia Region.  This includes those in staffing, organization development, compensation, benefits, diversity & inclusion, HRIS, HR operations, etc. The HCA SIG is open to both members and non-members of PSPS. To optimize the value of the Forum, we strive to maintain a balance among corporate practitioners, academics, and providers of products and services.

Meeting formats are flexible and adaptive to achieve our purpose.  Formats include: guest speakers, roundtable discussions, participant projects, and examination of academic research.

Meeting Location and Time
